Embedding a Google Gadget

This is a small test to show how to embed a Google Gadget directly into content.


It is easy to use the syndicated Google Gadgets and embed them into your website.

Here's what I did.

  • Select a Google Gadget from their list (CLICK HERE to see them ).
  • Click on "Add to your webpage"
  • Copy to code
  • In Joomla's back end,
  • create a new module position
  • create a new module
  • In HTML mode, paste the gadget code.
  • select the newly created module position
  • save it
  • create a static content item (it doesn't have to be static)
  • use the mos load position to inster the created module
